BSI (British Standards Institution) is an independent British body that reviews a product's technical file and test results. The number VC 788742 belongs to this product and can be checked in BSI's public directory.

TSE (Turkish Standards Institution) issues the TSEK mark to products that conform to the national standard. The ball is manufactured in Turkey and tested to that standard.

Class A covers wood, paper, fabric and similar materials. The figure 5 indicates the size of the test fire the ball successfully extinguished — the higher the number, the larger the tested fire.
Class B covers flammable liquids: oil, fuel, solvents. 55B means the test was carried out on a 55-litre fire.
Class C covers flammable gases, such as a fire at a gas stove. Important: with a gas fire the first step is always to shut off the gas supply.
E means the ball is intended for use around live equipment — a fuse box or a charging area, for example. The powder does not conduct electricity.
Besides activating on its own, the ball has a contact for an external signal from 1 to 24 volts. That allows it to be wired in as part of a fire alarm or another system.
The independent Efectis Era fire laboratory tested it to the TSE K 39 standard: six tests — thermal, explosion, sound, pressure, crash, and Class A fire performance — all passed. Every report is published on our certificates page, and the TSEK license can be verified live in the Turkish Standards Institution registry.
Yes. The ball is supplementary automatic protection for the hours when nobody is present. It does not replace the conventional extinguishers required by Georgian regulation (Resolution No. 370/2015), and it does not replace smoke alarms. Full protection is both together.
Classes A (solids), B (liquids), C (gas) and E (electrical equipment) — with official fire ratings 5A / 55B on the TSEK certificate. It is NOT for cooking-oil pan fires: never throw anything at burning oil.
Not on its own — standalone, it activates only on direct contact with open flame, within 3–5 seconds. But the ball also has an electrical activation input (1–24V): connected to a fire alarm panel or a smoke/heat detector, it activates the moment the detector triggers. A standalone ball still does not replace smoke alarms.
A loud bang (around 120 dB — that is also the alert), and about 1.3 kg of dry extinguishing powder disperses over the fire source. The ball is single-use: afterwards ventilate the room, clean up the powder, and replace the ball.
At the points that burn when nobody is watching: the electrical panel, server corner, boiler room, garage or workshop, storage areas — and in the kitchen, away from the frying zone. Mount with the arrow pointing up, as printed on the ball.
A fair question. US consumer authorities have criticized fire balls — mainly uncertified no-name units — because no ball meets portable-extinguisher standards (UL, EN 3). That is true, and it is why we never sell the ball as an extinguisher replacement. It is a supplementary automatic device, tested to Turkey’s dedicated TSE K 39 ball criteria by an independent laboratory, with every document published on this site. Keep your extinguishers and alarms; add balls where nobody is watching.
